Translate the standard into measurable capabilities

Requirements such as IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613, PRP, HSR and IEEE 1588 should be mapped to the exact model, firmware and test evidence. A family-level claim is not a substitute for model-level verification.

Plan capacity beyond the initial topology

Port density, fiber uplinks and switching capacity should accommodate the target architecture and a reasonable expansion margin. Modular designs can simplify growth when the future interface mix is not yet fixed.
